Arnie Wilson has spent many years working throughout Fleet Street on papers such as the Daily Express, and on Television, working for TV stations including ITN, and UK regional channels TVS (where he was an on-screen reporter for 10 years) Anglia, Thames, LWT News and TVam.

In 1986, completely unexpectedly, he became the Financial Times ski correspondent for the next 15 years. This included his great adventure - skiing every day in 1994 with the late Lucy Dicker in the 'Financial Times Round The World Ski Expedition' skiing in 240 resorts in 13 countries, writing about their adventures in the FT throughout the year and ending up in the Guinness Book of Records. Apart from skiing in all 38 US states which have ski resorts, he’s also had six books published - five about skiing and one, Big Name Hunting, about his time in Fleet Street as a showbiz writer. He edited the Ski Club of Great Britain's magazine Ski+Board for almost 13 years until 2014.
